De Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, de grootste organisatie van voedingsdeskundigen, zegt dat volledig plantaardige voedingspatronen gezond, nutritioneel adequaat en geschikt zijn voor elk stadium in je leven, inclusief zwangerschap, borstvoeding, kindertijd en adolescentie.\u00a0<\/p><p>De consumptie van melk en melkproducten kan negatieve gevolgen op de gezondheid met zich meebrengen. Dit kan leiden tot de verhoging van LDL-cholesterol, een hoger risico op hart- en vaatziekten en zelfs prostaatkanker.
